Party Policies

1. Venue and Space Requirements

Different entertainment programmes have different space requirements.

Bubble Shows: We require approximately 10 × 14 feet (3 × 4 metres) of clear performance space. A wall or backdrop behind the entertainer is preferred. Children and guests should remain in front of the performance area.

Science Shows and Ice Cream Shows: A suitable indoor performance area is required, with enough room for our equipment, demonstrations, and safe audience participation.

Neon Shows: These programmes are designed for indoor venues that can be sufficiently darkened. Windows may need to be covered, and room lighting must be switched off. If the venue cannot be darkened adequately, a neon programme may not be suitable.

Theme Parties, Neon Disco Parties, and Mascot Appearances: These programmes can be adapted to smaller indoor spaces. More open space is preferable for interactive games, dancing, and activities, but there is no fixed minimum area requirement.

2. Arrival, Setup, and Cleanup

Our entertainers typically arrive approximately 15–30 minutes before the scheduled start time to prepare for the performance.

Setup requirements and preparation times may vary depending on the selected programme.

For Bubble Shows, we bring protective flooring for the performance area and clean up our equipment after the show.

Please ensure that the agreed performance area is accessible before our entertainers arrive.

3. Equipment and Venue Access

Karamel Family Event provides the equipment required for the booked entertainment programme.

For programmes that include Face Painting or Balloon Twisting, we request one table and two chairs.

Regular programmes generally operate using battery-powered equipment. Neon programmes require access to an electrical outlet for UV lighting.

Please provide a convenient parking space for unloading equipment whenever possible.

4. Number of Children

The recommended number of participating children varies by programme.

Some activities, including Face Painting and Balloon Twisting, have practical capacity limits based on the booked duration.

Larger groups may require additional entertainment time, additional staff, or an adjusted programme.

Please provide an accurate estimated number of children when making your booking so we can recommend the most suitable option and confirm any additional charges in advance.

5. Age Recommendations

Our entertainment programmes are designed for different age groups.

Bubble Shows are suitable for a wide range of ages, including younger children.

Science Shows and Ice Cream Shows are generally recommended for children aged 6 and older, depending on the programme.

Theme Parties, Neon Disco Parties, and other interactive entertainment can be adapted to the ages and interests of the participating children.

If you are unsure which programme is appropriate, please share the birthday child’s age and the approximate ages of the guests.

6. Adult Supervision and Safety

A responsible adult must remain present and supervise children throughout the event.

Children must follow the entertainers’ safety instructions, particularly during science demonstrations, fire effects, liquid nitrogen activities, and interactive Bubble Shows.

Guests should not enter the equipment or performance area unless invited by an entertainer.

For everyone’s safety, the performance area must remain free from unnecessary obstacles and hazards.

7. Food, Drinks, and Alcohol

Please keep food and drinks away from entertainment equipment and active performance areas.

Adults who consume alcohol at the event must ensure that their behaviour does not interfere with the performance or children’s safety.

Karamel Family Event reserves the right to pause an activity if unsafe behaviour creates an immediate risk to entertainers or guests.

8.Event Schedule and Delays

Entertainment begins at the confirmed booking time.

Please ensure that the children and performance area are ready at the scheduled start time.

Our entertainers may have additional bookings on the same day, so delays caused by the customer or venue cannot always be accommodated.

We cannot guarantee an extension of the programme if the event starts late.

9. Outdoor Entertainment

Outdoor performances are available only for programmes and seasons where outdoor conditions are suitable.

Our outdoor Bubble Show season ends on October 1. From October onward, Bubble Shows are performed indoors.

Wind, rain, low temperatures, and other weather conditions can affect the safety and quality of outdoor entertainment.

For outdoor bookings, we recommend having a suitable indoor backup location.

10. Photography and Video Recording

Parents and guests are welcome to take personal photos and videos during our entertainment programmes, provided that recording does not interfere with the performance.

Please respect the privacy of other children and families attending the event.

Karamel Family Event will obtain appropriate permission before using identifiable customer or child images for our own promotional purposes.

11. Booking and Cancellation Policies

A $100 non-refundable deposit is required to confirm a booking.

Customer-initiated cancellations and rescheduling are subject to our Cancellation Policy.

If Karamel Family Event is unable to provide the agreed entertainment due to a failure on our part, we will refund all payments received for the affected booking.
